Activity Logs

This might be the last big request actually. I feel like we are getting to the end haha.

After my dive staff complete their dives, they are required to complete a dive log. We then send that dive log to all divers that were with that staff member. So ideally maybe within the “activities” section, under each individual activity we have a tick box for yes/no as to whether a dive log is required. For example snorkeling we never ask for a log so its not needed. But for any dive they do, we would want to require it. Thus, at the conclusion of the activity, our staff will get a whatsapp message asking / reminding them to complete their dive log ideally with a link to do so (and maybe office gets a notification for any log not completed within X number of days so we can pester staff to get their shit together). Then, once they submit the log, it auto sends to all divers that were assigned to that staff member (and maybe would be good to save it in their personal profile also for review later - like, next year they come back they can check logs to see where we took them previously).

We collect and share the following information with our divers. Some of it can be auto-filled based on the activity / schedule already in the software.

1. Date

2. Staff Member Name

3. What were they doing (Open Water class, Divemaster, etc)

4. Boat Name / Location (for shore dives)

5. Boat Captain (not needed on shore dives)

6. Departure Time

   So far all those items should be capable of an auto-fill

7. How many dives did you complete? (This allows for X number of dive sites aka they did 3 dives thus we need 3 dive sites completed. We can probably remove this request and have it automated based on the scheduled activity where we select # of tanks required.)

8. Todays Weather ( I have this as a choice)

   1. Beautiful day in paradise

   2. Partly Sunny

   3. Mostly cloudy

   4. Full cloud cover

   5. Light rain

   6. Shitty day in paradise

9. Water Temperature (again I have boxes to chlick for this and its has both F and C temps

   1. 78 - 89 F in single digits aka 78, 79, 80, 81, etc with the corresponding C temp

12. Dive Time Minutes

13. Visability

    1. 0 - 20 Feet

    2. 20 - 40 Feet

    3. 40 - 60 Feet

    4. 60 - 80 Feet

    5. 80 - 100 Feet

14. What did we see?

15. Notes (used for class skills performed, etc.)

16. Repeat # 10 - 15 for each dive completed.
