We have a Travel Agent on staff and send a lot of package prices with resorts/hotels. The prices are constantly changing so I cant really just say “El President $1000” and add it as an activity. Plus there are other variations like AI or Euro Meal Plan, dates, etc. Would be great to have the ability to add in a random item. Something like this is what we normally type into our Quickbook estimates:
Hotel Cozumel June 1 - 7, 2026 All-Inclusive 2 Adults $1090.20
I will also note this is paid separately through our travel agent direct. We collect the credit card info, give it to our TA, and they process the payment immediately (lodging only). No money on this part moves through Salty Endeavors so inevitably we always delete this item from the final invoice so its not reflected in the balance owed and we dont process it as a partial payment because again no money moves through Salty. For the purpose of the estimate it is simply a placeholder so the client can see a “apckage price” of hotel and diving together.
