Add reservation list view as alternative to calendar view

Request:
Add a toggle between Calendar View and List View, so users can view the same planning/reservation information in either a visual calendar layout or a reservation list layout.

Context:
The current calendar view is useful for viewing scheduled activities, but it does not show every reservation. Some guests do not book a scheduled activity such as a course, guided dive, or boat dive. They may only rent tanks, rental equipment, or air packages. These reservations are still important operationally, especially for front desk check-ins, but they do not always belong on the calendar because they are not tied to a specific scheduled activity.

If all tank rental or equipment rental guests were added to the calendar, the calendar could become overcrowded, especially on busy weeks with many rental-only guests.

In our current workflow, we use a reservation sheet where activity reservations and non-activity reservations can both be found in one list view. This is especially useful for front desk employees who need to check in customers for tank rental, gear rental, air rental, and other non-activity products.

Goal:
Allow users to view all reservations in one list, including both activity-based reservations and non-activity reservations.

Suggested functionality:

• Add a toggle between Calendar View and List View.

• The List View should show all reservations within the selected date range.

• The List View should include reservations that do not appear on the calendar, such as tank rental, air rental, or equipment rental only.

• The calendar can remain focused on scheduled activities, while the list view can function as the complete reservation overview.

Suggested columns / information:

• Check-in date

• Check-out date, if relevant

• Guest name

• Number of guests

• Accommodation

• Check-in location

• Activity type / purchased products

• Activity location, where applicable

• Assigned staff, where applicable

• Payment status

• Voucher / discount / partner info, where applicable

or maybe simplified version of the above, and when you click on the activity/rental you get a pop up screen with the detailed reservation information.

Activity type clarification:
“Activity type” does not only mean the name of a scheduled activity. It should describe the type or collection of products the guest has booked. So feel free to change the naming... I think we can do Activity (for activities) and Rentals (for only rentals?). Keep in mind, there are also people that do and activity and rent.

• Boat dive

• Guided shore dive

• Air package (does this classify as rental??)

• Equipment rental

Open questions / answers:

• The list range could match the calendar date range, for example 7 days, but ideally should also support custom date ranges.

• The list view is similar to a Google Calendar “Agenda” view, but it should include all reservations, not only calendar-based activities.

• Filtering by start of activity can be based on date.
