One category we have is labeled “Fins & Boots.” Ultimately the client is only picking “boots” which is their shoe size. We automatically assign them a fin size based upon the shoe size they selected. We do not want our clients selecting a fine size it just needlessly complicates things. So the problem is in inventory our boots and fins are not mathing sizes. So they cannot be lumped together for inventory purposes. So for example:
We have shoe sizes Mens 4, 5, 6 they all correspond to fin size X-Small.
Shoe size 7, 8, 9 are with fin size Small
Shoe size 10, 11, 12 are fin size Regular
Finally shoes 13, 14, 15 are size X-Large fin
So I think I am asking for a couple things here:
Allow me to have separate inventory for boots and fins
Dont want clients selecting fins
We want fins auto removed from inventory based upon the boot size selected
Additionally, we take shoe sizes for US Mens, US Womens, and Euro. We inventory only US Mens sizes. Thu, when a lady requests US Womens 9, we give them a US Mens 7.5. So again, can we marry the inventory so when someone asks boot size X, it pulls that available inventory from the linked sizes.
